1) Application Requirements: AMENDED! (March 14th, 2019)
This is highly expected in every organization application, may it be legal or illegal:
There will be a limit for the amount of official organization at a time, the current limit can be found via our Strike Log.
There must be 3 starting members posting screenshots and willing to assume the rank 6, 5 and 4th in the organization when created.
All starting members must possess level 5.
All starting members must carry a good admin record. (No recent jails/bans/kicks)
Activity must be shown in their organization thread; there must be a few pages of RP screenshots (The threshold will remain hidden)
Starting members must show competence in their leadership capabilities.
The Leader must keep a positive attitude to criticism and willing to aspire/encourage others to roleplay.
2) General Organization Rules:
This is the official rules and regulations that every organization should follow in the server, breaking any would result in a Strike.
Update your organization threads every week with media output, media output = activity.
Stay within the concept/theme of your organization, if you're a gangbanger then don't roleplay like a mafioso.
Organization channels such as /f is not a way to communicate with fellow members in a foreign language, all /f chats must be in English.
Metagaming via /f is highly prohibited, use /wt for IC information.
Only organization admin + can authorize HQ raids. If the LSPD raids your organization, the safe may be emptied, however, this requires a valid reason to raid, and authorization from the Government faction. We urge all organizations to refrain from givingLSPD a reason to raid your HQ. (LSPD will be needed to provide OOC video proof if asked before authorizing the raid).
Large scale gang wars will have to be approved by Org Management AND both organization leaders. Small scale wars will still be allowed.
Families not roleplaying to their chosen style will not be tolerated, if you choose to roleplay as a gangbaner then actually RP as one. No more gangbangers riding turismos etc. (You're still allowed to own a turismo/infernuses/sports cars etc however keep it FAR from your headquarter/turfs.)
3) Turf Rules and Regulations - DISABLED - Read below for more details.
Failure to comply with these rules will result in a direct strike, no more warnings.
Turfs can no longer be captured. Instead, they'll be assigned to the organization based on their influence in the area.
Turfs are to be fought in an In Character manner.
Taking a turf while another organization is taking a point is highly restricted, take turns in doing so.
A minimum of 3 members is required to take a turf.
Weapons that suit your organization style of roleplay are permitted to be used during turf wars. Organizations using weaponry not normally accessible to their style will be striked.
No masks allowed in turf war.
You cannot go back into the turf when you die.
No healing is allowed while in a brawl or during a turf war, don't bring drugs to heal.
Don't tab during a turf war, whoever does this will be striked and jailed.
All organizations are to have a 3 turf limit, an exception can be made by contacting the organization administrator.
Keep turfs related to the area you control, branching off far is unrealistic
4) Point Rules and Regulations - DISABLED - Read below for more details.
Failure to comply with these rules will result in a direct strike, no more warnings.
Points are now NOT allowed to be captured. Points will still remain for mat/drug runs but an organization can NOT take them over.
Points are to be fought in an In Character manner. In order to open fire upon an organization you MUST initiate IC'ly for example "/s Drop the guns, you have ten seconds.". The only exception to this rule is if you're in an ACTIVE gang-war with the opposing/ contesting organization.
Taking a point while another organization is taking a turf is highly restricted.
A minimum of 2 members is required to take a point.
Rush Claiming a point is not allowed, rush claiming means not killing all organization members taking the point. An organization must clear out the perimeter of the point in order to claim it.
Masks are not allowed inside a point war.
No AFKing around a point.
No RKing when you die in a point war.
No healing in a point war.
Use common sense, any position that gives an advantage over the attackers/defenders is prohibited. Example: Getting on a roof where you're above your enemies.
Organizations have a maximum of 5 point slots.
5) Tagging Rules:
Tagging inside any mapping interior is prohibited.
RP tagging a wall! - Don't do it in public where people can see you!
You can buy spray cans from any 24/7 store. The cmd is /tagwall (if organization rank allows )
Please do not tag on the following; Vehicles (private or public), GOV HQ. LSPD, LSFD, CITY HALL, Other Players.
When tagging keep in mind; Would you even be able to do it in real life? Don't tag somewhere you can't reach in IRL - IG.
Do not tag and have a large space between the wall and the tag. It should be as close as possible.
Do not write anything that is just plain and has nothing to do with your organization.
Do not over do it .... don't tag a lot anywhere else unless it's around your HQ.
NEW - AS OF 5th March, 2019!
6) Character Development :
Leaders of an organization will be responsible for encouraging members to post screenshots of character development.
The character development can either be posted HERE FOR PERSONAL OR in the respected faction's thread.
Screenshots are not required to be edited, if you are inexperienced when it comes to editing screenshots you can simply post the screenshot. We understand not everybody has access to photoshop or any editing tools.
Each member recruited must be featured in the organization thread; that way the admins can keep log on a player's affiliation.
Organization leaders must hand out invites to players who are role-playing with the organization for more than 4 days. Please refrain from inviting someone who you met on the same day, or 1, 2, 3 days after. Character development is a must.
7) Striking :
If organization leader is jailed more than two times within the same week, the organization admins will review the offenses and determine if the entire organization will be issued a strike. Leaders must set an example for their members.
If an organization MEMBER is jailed (Org members carry (1/3) point towards a strike) within the same week and reaches (3/3) points, the organization admins will review the offenses and determine if the entire organization will be issued a strike. Leaders must ensure each member they recruit is capable of roleplay and has an understanding of the rules.
Strikes will be removed if the organization can withstand two weeks without receiving a strike.
The organization admins reserve the right to issue three strikes any organization if they are deemed unfit for the server. If three strikes are amassed, the organization will be subjected to deletion. Upon being subjected to deletion, the organization admins and two additional admins (general admin+) will review and decide the fate of the organization.
6) Organization CK:
By joining an organization you give the leader and members of the organization full authority to CK you at any given time. Organization CK means you do not remember anything related to this org and will need to return anything stolen from them or received.
If you are kicked from an organization due to an OOC reason, you will automatically be organization CK'd. You can dispute this OOC CK with the organization admin if need be.
9) Rules of Engagement (Official & Unofficial) NEW - AS OF 14th March, 2019!
Any hostility between official and unofficial gangs prior to this update is treated to be voided in attempts to prevent confusion.
There must be acknowledgement from both leaders that they are entering warfare against each other.
Only official organizations can engage in an extended war
Each organization during an extended war is permitted to attack once every 3 hours. This rule can be subjected to change if agreed to by both leaders. Example: Gang A attacked Gang B at 12:00noon. They must wait until 3:00pm before attacking again. If Gang B retaliates at 2:30pm they must wait until 5:30pm to attack. It is expected each gang log their attacks.
It is encouraged for gang leaders to communicate with each other to organize melee battles rather than constant gunfighting. An organization admin will inform both leaders when all attacks for the entirety of the day will be restricted to melee weapons only.
An Attack: Any member of an organization killing or wounding the opposing gang member in their hood. If 1 member from Gang A attacks the entirety of Gang B (or one member), they consumed their attack and must wait until 3hrs passed to engage in another attack.
M4s, RPGs, Grenades, Spas12s, Snipers, Rifles, Bombs, and sawed off shotguns are not permitted.
Players outside of a gang are not permitted to enter into a gang fight to "help" any party. The police department can intervene at any time.
IMPORTANT: Unofficial gangs are not permitted to engage in an extended war with any official organization (or gang) OR any unofficial organization (or gang). Unofficial gangs can only ATTACK an OFFICIAL gang IF they have a valid reason as well as EVIDENCE to support the attack. Example: If Unofficial Gang A is robbed by a member of Official Gang B, Unofficial Gang A is permitted to retaliate ONCE. After the attack no more attacks must commence from Unofficial Gang A. Official Gang B can retaliate and after this retaliation, the small scale war is over from both sides.
